Webpage is Not Available (Deskphone Integration)

To connect a deskphone with Callinize, you need to load the webadmin page for the phone. In most cases, you can simply enter your phone’s IP address in your web browser and you will be prompted to login.


If this does not work, you may see the following message:


In this case, be sure to try your IP address with ‘https://’ rather than ‘http://’ in front.

If you are still unable to reach your web admin page, there are 3 possibilities:

#1) Your phone & computer are on different subnets.

Follow the instructions below:

1. Open a terminal Window

1. Click the “Start” button to open the Start menu
2. Open the “All Programs” menu, followed by the “Accessories” option.
3. Select the “Command Prompt” option from the “Accessories” menu.
4. -OR- Search for “cmd”

1. Press Command+Space.
2. Type “terminal”.
3. Hit Enter.


2. Type “ping IP_address” replacing IP_address with yours.

$ ping
3. Inspect your output

Output if your phone and computer are on the same subnet

#2) Web admin access is disabled on the phone.

You will need to enable access using your physical phone menu. Use the support tab to contact us for help.

#3) Web admin access is not allowed by the phone provider.

Contact your phone provider to request this be enabled. (Phone.com, for example, requires a call to support to enable this feature.) If your provider will not allow access, ask whether they will support changes to auto-provisioning and send them these instructions (for a Polycom phone).
