IMPORTANT: Desk phone integrations require static IP addresses. Dynamic IP addresses may conflict with analytics and click to dial functionality.

 

1.  Determine Organization ID

Under the Tenfold Admin Dashboard, click the Company Settings Tab ->Company and your Organization ID should be there.

2. Determine IP Address of the phone

Press Settings -> Information -> System Info -> IP Address

3. Open the phone web admin page.

Go to: http://IP_ADDRESS. Replace IP_ADDRESS with the # found above (e.g. http://192.168.1.5)

Default passwords

Username: admin Password: admin

*Note: Your carrier may have changed your default username and password. If you cannot login, please contact them and get the username and password.

4. Set Action (event) URLs

Navigate to Features –> Action URL and enter the URLs found in the setup wizard or if completed, find these URLs on the admin dashboard phone settings tab.

All URLs should be in the following format:

https://events.tenfold.com/receiveraw/ORGANIZATION_ID/snom?mac=$mac&user_name1=$user_name1&phone_ip=$phone_ip&call_id=$call-id&local=$local&remote=$remote&active_url=$active_url&display_local=$display_local&display_remote=$display_remote&action=ACTION

where ORGANIZATION_ID is a unique string for your organization that can be found in your dashboard and ACTION is one of the following depending on the URL.

Incoming Call: incoming
Outgoing Call: outgoing
Missed Call: missed
On Connected: connected
On Disconnected: disconnected
Transfer call: transfer

5. Make a test phone call to register your phone device (aka extension) with Tenfold.

Make a phone call to an external phone #. This could be your cell phone or the pizza place down the street. Any # will do. You do not have to wait for an answer, but you should let it ring at least once. This will register your newly configured device with Tenfold so that you can assign the device to a Tenfold user (like yourself).
