Avaya Communication Manager: CRM Integration

Overview: In order to connect to on premise systems like the Avaya Communication Manager, we use a lightweight server application that is installed on a hardware or virtual server on the same network as your Avaya Communication Manager PBX. The server requirements are modest and can be found here:

Beyond the server requirements, there are also some phone system specific requirements. For the Avaya Communication Manager, here’s a breakdown:

Phone System Requirements:

Connection: TSAPI/Telnet

Firewall Ports Required:

– To PBX – TCP: 23 (Telnet)

– To TSAPI server – TCP: 450 (TSAPI)

– Plus additional TCP ports: 1020-1200 (TSAPI)


Firmware Version Required: CM3 or Later


Connection Requirements: Basic TSAPI licenses to cover the number of required extensions, plus any physical transport (ie C-LAN, AES server) as appropriate


To Perform an Installation, you will need:

-The IP address of the PBX (C-LAN) and a valid username and password for the Telnet interface.

-The IP address of the TSAPI server (or AES server).

– A valid username and password for the TSAPI interface.


Note: There is no need to open an ports as the application establishes a TCP connection with our servers, maintaining stringent security requirements.

Once the server and phone requirements are met and the installation prep pack has been filled out, the Tenfold onboarding team will perform a remote installation of the Cloud Connect software package. The install steps can be found here:
