Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise (OXE) Integration Requirements

In order to connect to on premise systems like the Alcatel OXE, we use a lightweight server application that is installed on a hardware or virtual server on the same network as your Alcatel OXE. The server requirements are modest and can be found here:

Beyond the server requirements, there are also some phone system specific requirements. For the Alcatel OXE, the connection is made through TAPI.

To perform an installation you will need to first install the Alcatel OXE (4400) TAPI Server driver. The telephone system will also require a TAPI license (code 143). The licenses are bought in blocks of five extensions. The TAPI server configuration allows you to select which extensions use the licenses.

The solution also requires that the firmware is version 7 or later.

There is no need to open an ports as the application establishes a TCP connection with our servers, maintaining stringent security requirements.

Once the server and phone requirements are met and the installation prep pack has been filled out, the Tenfold team will perform a remote installation of the Cloud Connect software package. The install steps can be found here:
