How Do I add users to Tenfold?

Note: To add, invite, synchronize, or assign users to the Tenfold Dashboard, you must have admin privileges first.

Objective:

With access to the Tenfold Admin dashboard, setting up new users with in your organization is a breeze! Adding a user to Tenfold allows you to assign a phone  device (extension) so they can hit the ground running with logging call data to their CRM, Access the floating UI, and participate in call analytics with in your organization.

This Article will provide surface level instruction on how to preform the following tasks:

1. Add the user in your CRM.

2. Synchronize users with Tenfold.

3. Assign the user’s phone extension/device.

4. Invite the user to use Tenfold.

  1. Add the user in your CRM.

 

Note: It is crucial to create a user with in your selected CRM. This will ensure that all call data is adequately saved to customer’s accounts/groups within your CRM.

If you would prefer to create a new Tenfold user with out CRM access, or simply create an admin only user, kindly click the “Create User” button in the user section of the dashboard.

2. Synchronize users with Tenfold.

Click on the “Synchronize Users” button in the top right corner to bring a list of your CRM users into Tenfold. This will import existing CRM users in to Tenfold. Synchronized user’s call data will begin recording analytics and allow floating ui behavior to save to your CRM.

Preforming this step will ensure all missing CRM users will be synchronized in the Tenfold user list.

3. Assign the user’s phone extension/device.

Note: Please determine your respective phone system extension requirement before attempting this step. Additional configuration details may be required in order for your phone data to align with Tenfold. If you have any questions about necessary configuration details, please consult Support.

Before a user’s phone extension can be assigned, the device must be registered with an external call. Feel free to call your cell phone or the local pizza shop. If there are any issues with this step, please preform an outbound call, notate the approximate time, and contact support here.

In the user section of the Tenfold Dashboard, Click the orange “Assign Extensions” button.

4. Invite the user to use Tenfold.

The invite button below will send the user an email to the email address synchronized from your CRM. This email prompts your new Tenfold user to install the Tenfold Chrome plugin and to set a password for login. After installing this plugin, all calls in and out of their extension will show a Floating UI on their screen!

Note: To change this email, click on the support tab on the right-hand side of your dashboard and let us know what you need this to be.
