ActivePBX is a provider of PBX systems that sync data to the cloud. These systems allow users to access phone information from anywhere in the world. The company has developed technology that works with an internet connection, so users don’t need to install telecom hardware — common with traditional analog systems. A division of ActiveServe, Inc., ActivePBX was established in 2002 and has data centers in Florida (which serve customers on the east coast of the United States), Utah (which serve customers on the west coast), Singapore and the United Kingdom. The latter powers customers in countries across Europe. ActivePBX conducts the bulk of its operations from its Miami headquarters. Alex Gonzalez is the CEO and co-founder of the company.
ActivePBX has a wide range of phone systems, including the Polycom VVX 310. This handset features six lines, an integrated ethernet switch and programmable speed dial, and supports the VVX expansion module and VVX color expansion module. The Polycom VVX has up to 16 line appearances and speed dials, a 12-key keypad, video playback and video conferencing, one-button transferring and integrated Bluetooth technology. The company’s handsets also provide call analytics so users can track incoming and outcoming calls and gain valuable business intelligence. ActiveDial Mobile, an iOS and Android app, lets businesses access their PBX phone system call list from their smartphone. ActiveDial Desktop allows users to make calls and access data analytics from their desktop or laptop computer. This eliminates the need for a physical phone system. In 2017, ActivePBX launched a native application for Zoho CRM, letting callers access click-to-call services and manage customer relationships.
