VoIP Logic specializes in cloud-based VoIP technology solutions for businesses of all sizes, with a suite of products that streamline communications and facilitate day-to-day business operations. The company was founded in 2003 and provides products, such as VoIP infrastructure and managed systems, carriers and service providers. In 2016, software-as-a-service company BroadSoft acquired VoIP Logic. BroadSoft, who believed the deal could contribute around $800,000 in revenue, have now added VoIP Logic’s innovative cloud model to their business portfolio. Micah Singer is VoIP Logic’s CEO. He has worked in telecommunications for more than 20 years and held positions at Justice Technology and Viatel. Roberto Rojas manages VoIP Logic’s infrastructure and internal data management center. He joined the company as a founding engineer in 2003 and has previously held positions at Asia Access Telecom and Unisphere Networks.
VoIP Logic has developed a range of VoIP products. These include hosted PBX systems, unified communications, and trunking and peering services. The company’s on-demand delivery method lets carrier and service providers build managed VoIP systems and work with their engineering team. VoIP Logic has infrastructure at six collocation facilities, allowing any service provider to incorporate the company’s systems into their interconnected VOIP and IT systems. The company also provides call centers with an innovative platform for call center management. This product comes with various tools for call handling, including skills-based routing, priority queuing, holiday and greetings services, one-click transfer and call escalation. Users can also access real-time analytics, which generate accurate metrics about call center management, such as the number of calls received in any given time period and the busiest call periods of the day. Some of VoIP Logic’s partners include Network Intelligence, a provider of managed wholesale carrier services; One Stream Networks, a managed IP service provider; and Bandwidth.com, a provider of wholesale carrier voice solutions and tier-one emergency services.
Since its inception, VoIP Logic has won a broad range of awards. In 2008, VON Magazine awarded VoIP logic with its Innovator Award for the company’s Cortex middleware application. This honor recognizes the most successful companies in the internet communications industry, and VoIP Logic was the inaugural winner. The latest version of Cortex integrates with Broadsoft’s BroadWorks program and is built on the enterprise Java platform.
