ShoreTel Sky is a cloud-based phone system manufactured by Sunnyvale, California-based telecommunications vendor ShoreTel. The product was launched in 2012 and is one of several telephony products that have been manufactured by the ShoreTel brand over the years. In 1998, ShoreTel launched its first IP telephony installation, just two years after the company was formed. In 2003, ShoreTel released its first UC platform and mobility solution. Founded in 2001 by Clate Mask and brothers Scott and Eric Martineau, Infusionsoft started out as eNovasys in a modest office space in Mesa, Arizona. It became the software and consulting company, Infusionsoft, in 2003. A year later, the company was able to create a script that automates lead sales, thus becoming the foundation of Infusionsoft’s SaaS project range.
The startup received $9 million worth of venture capital funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures in 2007 and an additional $7.9 million from vSpring Capital in 2008. From a revenue of just $1.5 million in 2005, Infusionsoft was able to reach $17.5 million in 2010 and $80 million in 2014. Today, the company has more than 33,000 customers and 110,000 users all over the world.
Infusionsoft offers an all-in-one sales and marketing platform with CRM, marketing automation, sales automation, online sales management, analytics, and payment collection capabilities. It can also be accessed on mobile devices and integrated with several third-party apps.
The small business CRM features a contact management system that allows users to collect data from their leads and efficiently manage detailed individual records to save hours of work. It can also effectively segment customers into categories based on various criteria like demographics, email clicks, lead score, payment history, and purchases.
Another popular feature is lead scoring, which enables users to zero in on hot leads that are ready to become customers. This lessens the time wasted on prospects who will never be converted into buyers.
There is also Infusionsoft Mobile, which allows users to manage contacts and automate marketing anytime and anywhere.
Infusionsoft has been recognized a number of times in the CRM industry. In 2013, Inc. named Infusionsoft as a Hire Power Awardee in the software category due to its creation of 240 jobs within the year. Inc. also included Infusionsoft in the list of fastest growing private companies for a total of seven times.
The company has also made it to the list of the Top 100 Arizona Companies at number 47. It was ranked number 44 on the list of top companies within the Phoenix metro. In 2014, Infusionsoft received the Pioneering Award at the Arizona Technology Council’s Governor’s Celebration of Innovation.
Even Infusionsoft’s founder, Clate Mask, has received several recognitions. The Phoenix Business Journal’s Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards named him CEO of the Year, while the Arizona Technology Council awarded him Business Leader of the Year, both in 2013.
