Originally launched as a small at-home telecom business in Auckland, New Zealand, IPFX has since expanded to serving customers on four continents. It serves to unify people, productivity, and communication through Computer Telephony Integration and contact center functionality. Having grown exponentially since its inception in 1995, the company is independently owned and represents a culmination of CEO and owner Kevin Plumpton’s efforts. After he had noticed a gap in the quality and availability of telephone systems, Mr. Plumpton started working on a computer-based voicemail system to allow employees to have real-time visibility of their colleagues.
