Founded in 2004 and based in Plano, Texas, Fonality started operating as a subsidiary of NetFortis, Inc in 2017. It has additional centers in Makati City, Philippines; North Sydney, Australia; and Culver City, California. Before the acquisition, Fonality had 30,000 clients and approximately 300,000 people who relied on the service every day in 41 countries. These customers are now combined with those at NetFortis. NetFortis CEO Grant Evans has maintained leadership of the new company. John Young is the vice president of sales. Fonality’s partners, including companies Spectrum Technologies, Apex Communications, and Zthernet, have been consolidated with NetFortis’ platinum business partners, including Bridgepointe Technologies, Intelisys and Sandler Partners.
Fonality provides a variety of phone services, including business phone systems, public and private cloud solutions, and hosted PBX phone systems. It also assists the business industry by offering hybrid PBX systems, unified communications solutions, and VoIP phone systems. Providing specialized solutions for the legal, insurance, service and technology, non-profit, education, and manufacturing industries, Fonality has a comprehensive suite of secure cloud solutions. Some of the most popular services include integrated call management and collaboration, mobile device integration, and unified communication, which allows callers to simultaneously connect with everyone at a company, as well as suppliers and customers.
Since Fonality’s inception, it has earned worldwide recognition and garnered many industry awards. Fonality received PCMag’s Editors’ Choice award and an “excellent” rating for their VoIP solutions, such as unified communications, call center capabilities, and call routing. Additionally, they have earned TMC’s Annual Telephony Product of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2014 through 2017.
