The present Chief Executive Officer is Dayton Turner, who is also one of the company’s original founders. He has an entrepreneurial background driving growth through innovations in network architecture. His work in blocking hackers resulted in a patent for the technology by Prolexic Technologies which is now a leader in online security. Dayton’s experience in internet security was documented in the book Fatal System Error that recounts his work with the FBI that led to successful arrests of large-scale internet criminals. He is very much the ‘ideas guy’ at Voxter, and this ability to predict industry trends has allowed him to build Voxter into the leading VoIP provider in British Columbia. The Chief Financial Officer is Tamara Gottschlag. She has an MBA from Simon Fraser University and has worked in business development for Mercedes and gained experience in the IT industry while establishing Square Data Facilities providing co-location services. Barry Jung is the Business Development/Channel Manager responsible for engaging with and supporting Voxter resellers and developing strategic partnerships. Before joining Voxter, Jung served as Regional Channel Manager with Aastra Telecom.
Voxter has data centre facilities in Vancouver, San Jose, Melbourne, and Tokyo with application backend servers for Voice API, and a dedicated voice circuit network. The company’s client base includes major players in media, financial and technology services. The solution comes with a drag and drop interactive voice response feature with instant messaging and call control. Voxter has its own dedicated network with 24×7 helpdesk support.
