MiVoice- a product created and distributed by Mitel, a Canadian company that focuses exclusively on voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) product– provides small- and medium-sized businesses unified communications solutions. Although Mitel was founded in 1972, the current form of the company came in 2001, when Mitel split in half, separating its semiconductor section of the business from its telecommunications. Becoming Mitel Networks, the telecommunications offshoot offers click-to-call communications, voice over WiFi, MiCloud (cloud platforms), and MiVoice (unified communications).
MiVoice is split into several products: MiVoice Office 250, MyVoice Business, MiVoice MX-One. MiVoice MX-One is the broader multimedia communications service that can enable unified communications over wide geographical distances. MX-One provides users with the ability to utilize services over one network (whether fixed or mobile, public or private) as a single infrastructure, accessible everywhere simultaneously on multiple devices.
With MiVoice Office 250 and MiVoice Business, companies can connect employees in the office, at home, or on the road.
