ANPI is now part of Inteliquent, a communications provider that delivers voice and messaging services. Inteliquent was founded in 1997 and is based in Plymouth, Minnesota. Fritz Hendricks serves as the CEO of Inteliquent; Surendra Saboo is the company’s president. The company developed the first independent tandem network in 2003, which revolutionized how wireless, cable and broadband providers routed local traffic. Inteliquent is privately maintained by GTCR, a company located in Chicago. In 2016, telecommunications company Onvoy acquired ANPI. In 2017, GTCR acquired Inteliquent and merged the company with Onvoy.
ANPI developed a Unified Communications (UC) platform that merged hosted communications with collaboration tools. Since the company became part of Inteliquent, customers still benefit from PBX features such as video calling. Inteliquent products include inbound voice services with applications like conference calls. Users can also access call analytics, which makes it easier to track calls and monitor agents in a call center. The company’s outbound voice services support SIP and TDM technologies and provide users with call savings. Other services from Inteliquent include solutions for call management. Call centers, for example, can facilitate toll-free inbound calls and messages and automate content control and policy management.
Inteliquent has won various awards. In 2016, the company scooped six ATLANTIC-ACM Metro Wholesale Service Provider Excellence Awards at the INCOMPAS Show in Dallas, Texas. Inteliquent received honors for billing, voice value, service delivery, customer service, network performance and sales rep performance. In 2001, the organization placed no. 2 on Forbes magazine’s “Top 25 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in America.” Before it became part of Inteliquent, ANPI won a 2015 Unified Communications Excellence Award for the ANPI VIP product. This service provided UC solutions for businesses that wanted to integrate services like instant messaging, mobility and video and audio conferencing.
