The definition of lead response time refers to how long it takes to follow up with a lead that has entered the system, either by calling a rep, filling out an online form, or sending a direct email. Data has shown that “leads called in 5 minutes have a 9x close rate”, which highlights just how important it is to follow up as quickly as possible.
