What is Personal Edition?
Personal Edition is limited-license free version of our award winning EnterpriseTenFold SOA software running on Windows and EnterpriseDB. The Personal Edition license agreement allows for 5 development or production end-users. You can also freely distribute Personal Edition to your friends and colleagues.
How does TenFold count end-users?
We count end-users by counting the number of individuals who have a User name and password.
What if we exceed our end-user allocation for Personal Edition?

Which platform does Personal Edition support?
Personal Edition is available for Windows (Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000) and EnterpriseDB (8.1 R1). Can Personal Edition use a non-EnterpriseDB RDBMS?
The publicly available free version of EnterpriseTenFold SOA Personal Edition is licensed to use only the EnterpriseDB RDBMS. If you wish to use one of the other databases that EnterpriseTenFold SOA supports such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, or MySQL, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Can Personal Edition use an existing database design?
Yes. We recommend that you consult with a TenFold specialist who will help you import your database design information into the TenFold Dictionary. Contact TenFold Premier Support to obtain SpeedPro services for that purpose.
Can we move an application to a different server?
Yes. EnterpriseTenFold SOA is portable to almost every operating system, RDBMS, and computer hardware. So any application you build with Personal Edition can run on any hardware and software configuration that TenFold supports.
